- It all started in the summer of 2008 when a family member started having problems with birds in his crops. As he knew we were good with technology, he asked us for help to find on the Internet a solution to his problem.
- We did a first market study and found out that the American company Bird Gard was the leader in bioacoustic bird repellers. We contacted them and acquired some of their repellers, quickly seeing first-hand just how well they worked.
- Bird Gard did not yet have a distributor in Spain, while we were looking to launch an e-commerce project to provide innovative and effective products. We thought that if Bird Gard repellers had helped our family member, perhaps they could also help many other people with their bird problems.
- In September 2008, we reached an exclusive distribution agreement for Bird Gard bioacoustic repellers in Spain and Portugal and later extended this partnership agreement to Italy as well.
- After our online store "BirdGard Iberia" was launched, the first three years were modest, but they helped us to gain greater knowledge of bird control and the guiding principles of our company.
- Since 2011, we have been growing steadily, shipping more than 1,000 orders per year. This is more than 1,000 customers who trust BirdGard Iberia every year to provide solutions to their problems with birds and animals.
- In 2012, we launched our Blog, featuring advice on bird and animal control and giving our customers a space in which to relay their experience first-hand.
- Over the years, we have increased our catalogue to better meet the needs of our customers, offering other bird control devices and also repellers against cats, rats, mice and wild boars, among other animals.
- In 2023, we launched this online store, improving the shopping experience.
