Complete, functional, very effective product
Initially a bit complicated to use (I remember there is no LED indicating correct operation, important when choosing programs with non-continuous sound emission), but it has proven very effective. It has been mounted for more than a month in a vineyard and the only thing I regret is not having mounted it a month earlier. It is not a device to let an elderly person use as the information is in English and its use is not evident (combination of lever positions, it's bit programming by hardware instead of typing code).
It has been essential for me to preserve the vineyard in an area where it is forbidden to use nets to protect it from attacks by Starlings, Blackbirds, etc.

I confirm that these repellers work. We have not had sparrows in the warehouse again
We are an industrial company with mining operations in different parts of the country. By company's policy we do not share the name of the company. I am the Group's Quality and Environment Manager.
Over seven years ago, in 2014, we purchased the first BirdGard Pro #62 bird repeller to scare sparrows away from a produce storage shed.
Given the good results obtained, a few months later in 2014, we purchased a second BirdGard Pro #62 repeller to protect another raw material warehouse where sparrows were sneaking in through the entrance gates. This warehouse measures approximately 25 meters long x 20 meters wide. Before installing the repeller, there were many sparrows in the warehouse. They had even nested. They caused quite a few problems, because their droppings dirty the packaging material and pallets that we store there. The BirdGard repeller was installed inside the warehouse about three meters high, operating continuously, day and night.
I confirm that these repellers work. They have been operating for more than 7 years, and we have not had sparrows in the warehouse again.
Now in 2021 we are going to install a third BirdGard Pro #62 in a new packing area, which is approximately 50 meters long x 15 meters wide.

Thank you for your product's evaluation.
You are right, to prevent birds from getting used to the sounds it is very important to change the position of the unit in the vineyard. This way, sounds will not always be emitted from the same point. Take into account that the unit covers an area of up to 0.6 hectares. Sounds are broadcasted in a cone shape, covering 100 meters length by 60 meters width approximately. It is very important to completely cover all the crop. Please let us know if you need additional units to complete the coverage.
It is also very important to configure the unit in random mode. This way, sounds are always emitted in a different order and at a different frequency levels, and there is no a fixed sequence of sounds that birds can get used to.
Finally, we recommend that you place the unit at least one or one and a half meters high above the vineyard.

Good but not definitive, a bit expensive
The purchased Bird Pro device, configured to prevent magpies, worked very well in the first two weeks of use, scaring them away and keeping them at bay. Volume adjustment and audio broadcast options are also effective and simple.
However for a week now the magpies, albeit less intrusive than before, have returned to peck at the grapes of my vineyard. Perhaps they have become used to the acoustic signals broadcasted and show less fear.
Today I tried to move the unit from one side of the vineyard to the other to see if we can return to the initial positive situation.

Does its job
We have installed the Bird Gard Pro on the roof, just after the installation of a solar panel, since we had a problem with seagulls that used our installation as a resting base.

It works well
We are a group of companies in the food sector. Due to our company's policy I cannot reveal the name of the group, but I do want to share our experience.
We purchased the first Pigeon Repeller BirdGard Pro #35 in September 2019 along with a Hawk Scarecrow. We had a plague of pigeons in the factory area. There would be about 300 pigeons!
The BirdGard Pro #35 works very well. Within a few days of installing it, 80% of the pigeons left. The remaining 20% were captured and removed. We had been advised to do it this way because if some more daring or older specimens, who have less hearing capacity, stay in the area, they may end up attracting others.
Since then, we haven't had a single pigeon in the factory area that is protected by the unit. Of course, to prevent pigeons from returning to the area, we have a timer and we keep the equipment running every day, during certain time intervals.
The Hawk Scarecrow also adds to the solution, because the pigeons hear the hawk's cry and see it flying in the factory.

This bird repeller has been a great investment
In 2013 I bought a BirdGard Pro #20 gull repeller. I received it two days later, I installed it, and it was fantastic. I have been using it continuously for more than 7 years. During all these years I have not had a single gull in the roof of the warehouse.
The sounds emitted by the repeller are not annoying at all. You can sometimes hear the sound of birds inside the warehouse, but it is not annoying. Neither for us in our warehouse, nor for the other companies in this industrial area.
This bird repeller has been a great investment. Thanks to the repeller we have saved a lot of money in roof maintenance costs.

You have to pay attention to the combination of sounds it emits and to change them frequently.
Also the location of the unit must be changed frequently.
In short, its initial impact is practically total, but if the sounds and location are not modified, its effectiveness declines.

Scaring sparrows away is not an easy task but the BirdGard Pro emits a series of sounds that keep them away. It has to be in constant operation with programmable sound intervals and adjustable volume. We change its location every 15 days so they don't get used to it and it's quite effective as long as it's working. If it doesn't work the birds come right back. It has a light sensor so it stays silent at night. The effectiveness is 95%. Highly recommended.

In one of the town parks we had lots of problems with the starlings. A friend from the Talavera air base recommended to install the BirdGard electronic bird repeller.
