Sonic Bird Repeller - WK0108
The Sonic Bird Repeller WK0108 is designed to repel, in a simple and ecological way, birds such as sparrows, pigeons... in an area of up to 400 m².
- It broadcasts digitally-recorded distress call of predatory birds: eagles, hawks and owls, in sequences of approximately 1 minute long.
- In addition, it flashes high-intensity LEDs, which increases its deterrent effect against birds.
- It has two modes of operation:
- AUTO:
- In this mode, the repeller emits the raptor sounds at preset intervals, which can be adjusted between 4 and 25 minutes.
- The device has an automatic photoinduction function. When it gets dark at night, the device will remain silent, until the following day.
- PIR:
- In this mode, the motion sensor positioned in the front of the device will trigger the emission of sounds, only when it detects movement.
- The motion sensor has a detection angle of approximately 130º and a maximum detection range of up to 7-8 meters.
- In both modes of operation, volume can be adjusted.
- The Sonic Bird Repeller WK0108 can work connected to the 220V power, or with 4 AA batteries (not included)
- Designed for outdoor use, the device features IP44 protection, safeguarding it against water splashes. However, avoid direct exposure to heavy rain or water jets. It is recommended to install it under a roof or use a small cover that protects it without obstructing its function.

Sonic Bird Repeller - WK0108. Technical Specs.
- Coverage: 400 m² (approx.)
- Motion sensor distance: up to 7-8 meters, with a detection angle of approximately 130º.
- Sound Pressure: 120dB @ 1m.
- Dimensioms: 11,5 x 20 x 12 cm.
Installation and Maintenance Tips:
- Installation:
- Fix the device with screws to a pole, wall, tree or other support.
- It is recommend to mount the repeller 1 m –1,5 m above the height where birds perch.
- Do not place the repeller close to obstacles sucha as trees, branches, eaves, etc. They can block the motion sensor, greatly reducing its efficiency.
- After installation, connect the device to a power source (220V). Or insert 4 AA batteries.
- Then set the volume, operation mode, and time interval (if the operating mode is AUTO).
- IMPORTANT:
- For greater efficiency, it is recommended to combine this sonic bird repeller with the Hawk Scarecrow. This way, birds will hear the sounds of predators (including the hawk) and they will also see one flying in the area. This generates a synergistic effect that significantly improves the effectiveness of the solution.
- Maintenace Tips:
- Although the repeller is designed to operate outdoors and has IP44 protection, it is recommended to install the repeller in a place where weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat or direct solar radiation affect it as little as possible.
- Clean the photocell sensor with a clean cloth or cotton, but do not touch the photocell or use cleaning fluids.
- Please use good quality batteries.
- It is recommended to change the batteries when the flash doesn’t work anymore.
Frequently Asked Questions – Bird Repeller WK0108
What is the difference between this model and similar cheaper ones I see online?
Some devices that look similar to the WK0108 do not include the high-intensity LED flash system. This feature is essential because the visual effect combined with the sounds of birds of prey significantly improves the repeller’s effectiveness. By choosing this model, you’re getting a complete solution with dual deterrent: sound and light.
What kind of birds does this device repel?
The WK0108 is used to repel pigeons and other urban birds. It doesn’t use ultrasound, but audible sounds from natural predators such as eagles, hawks, and owls, which trigger an escape response in small birds.
Does it work better in AUTO or PIR mode?
It depends on the environment:
- AUTO mode: recommended if you want to keep constant deterrence during daylight hours, especially in open areas with frequent bird presence.
- PIR mode: useful if you prefer activation only when motion is detected, ideal for more protected areas or occasional bird visits.
Can it be used indoors or on covered balconies?
This device is mainly designed for outdoor use. However, it can be placed on balconies or terraces if the motion sensor has a clear view and there is enough space for the sound to travel.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life depends on how often the device is triggered and the mode used. We recommend using high-quality batteries and replacing them when the LED flashes stop working, which is a good indicator of low battery.
Is the repeller water-resistant?
Yes, it has IP44 protection, which means it resists splashes. However, it’s best to install it in covered areas or away from direct rain to ensure long-term durability.
How can I improve the WK0108’s effectiveness?
For best results, we recommend combining it with a Hawk Scare Kite. This adds a moving visual stimulus (simulating a real hawk flying), which reinforces the repeller's sound effect.

100% a wonderful repeller... very satisfied... Thank you

Fast delivery process, material as specified. Effectiveness in repelling birds, we will see.

It's working very well with pigeons, sparrows, and canaries. I ordered another unit because the minimum time interval is 4 minutes, and the birds are very persistent. So with 2 units, I can shorten the interval to 2 minutes.
