ATEX Insect Light Trap - ProFly Vortex 18 LED - ATEX Approved - Industrial Insect Light Trap

Industrial LED ultraviolet insect light trap with glue board, specially designed and ATEX approved for use in classified areas with potentially explosive atmospheres caused by gases, flammable dusts or volatile liquids. It is especially suitable for installations where there is a risk of explosion or fire, such as food processing industries (flour mills, sugar factories, spices, alcoholic beverages, cereals), chemical industries, pharmaceutical industries, perfume and cosmetics manufacturing, the production of glues, solvents and aerosols, landfill sites, power plants, wastewater treatment plants, and timber industries.

Manufactured from high-resistance 304 stainless steel, it offers excellent protection against corrosion, dust and demanding industrial environments. It is equipped with shatterproof 9W UV LED tubes and a flameproof lighting unit with ATEX IP66 protection for use in classified Zones 1 and 2.

The open design of the insect light trap allows for effective capture of flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes, moths, horseflies and wasps. The effectiveness of the device is based on the combined action of the insects’ positive phototropism towards the ultraviolet light emitted by the 9W LED tubes and the glue board with specific attractant, reference P51.

Silent operation, with no noise, no odours and no toxic products, allowing installation in sensitive industrial environments or in areas where food is handled. This insect light trap offers several installation options: suspended or wall-mounted, in either horizontal or vertical position.

Maintenance is simple: the glue board should be replaced at least every 2 months, depending on the level of infestation and the time of year. The LED tubes should be replaced approximately every 2 years to maintain the maximum effectiveness of the unit.
