The Electric Fly Killer LED UV Gardigo 70 m² is an indoor flying insect killer designed to attract flies and other flying insects that react to UV light. Once attracted to the device, the insects are eliminated by the integrated electrified grid.
This is the new LED version of the Gardigo 70 m² electric fly killer, replacing the previous version with fluorescent tubes. It maintains a coverage of up to 70 m², while incorporating low-consumption LED UV lighting.
The device uses LED UV light to attract flying insects towards the electrified grid. Once eliminated, the insects fall into the collection tray located at the bottom of the device, which can be easily removed for emptying and cleaning.
It works without sprays, insecticides or chemical products. It is a practical solution to reduce the presence of flies and other flying insects in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, offices and other indoor areas.
Although some mosquitoes may approach light sources under certain conditions, mosquitoes are not mainly guided by light. They are primarily attracted by human presence: body odour, heat and breathing.
For this reason, we do not recommend this type of lamp as the main solution for mosquito problems. This electric fly killer is especially suitable for flies and other flying insects that react to UV light. If your main problem is mosquitoes, please bear this limitation in mind before choosing the product.
The Gardigo electric fly killer is designed to cover indoor rooms of up to 70 m². For best results, place it in a dark area of the room, away from other light sources, people and food.
It should be used with doors and windows closed. Avoid placing it in front of an open window or door, as air currents reduce the attraction effect on flying insects.
The attraction function is only effective for flying insects that react to light.
The device can be placed on a flat surface or hung using the included suspension chain. It works connected to the mains with a standard electric plug.
If you hang the device, always use the included chain. Never hang it by the power cable.
The eliminated insects fall into the lower collection tray. To clean it, first unplug the device from the mains, remove the tray, empty it and clean it with a damp cloth.
Before using the device again, make sure that all parts are completely dry.
Keep the device out of the reach of children. Do not insert fingers, metal objects or any other items into the grid. Always unplug the device before cleaning or handling it.
This device is designed for indoor use only. It must not be used outdoors, in damp areas, barns, stables or places where flammable vapours or combustible dust may be present.
