The Weitech WK0650 Electric Rat & Mouse Trap eliminates rats and mice indoors using a 5000V electric shock. It runs on 4 C/LR14 batteries and provides an effective alternative to rodenticides and poison.

Its enclosed tunnel design allows bait to be placed at the back of the trap to attract the rodent inside. When a rat or mouse enters and activates the metal plates, the trap delivers the electric shock. The rodent remains inside the device, making removal more contained and avoiding the need to handle it directly.

A built-in LED indicator confirms when the trap is armed, alerts you when a rodent has been caught and warns you when the batteries are running low. The WK0650 is reusable, and one fresh set of batteries provides approximately 20 to 30 trap activations.

How does the Weitech WK0650 electric rodent trap work?

The Weitech WK0650 eliminates rats and mice by electrocution. Its tunnel-shaped design works together with bait placed at the rear of the trap to encourage rodents to enter.

When the rat or mouse enters the tunnel and makes contact with the internal metal plates, the trap is activated and delivers a 5000V electric shock that causes the rodent's death.

After activation, the rodent remains inside the trap and the LED indicator begins flashing red to let you know that a catch has been made.

How to set up and use the Weitech WK0650

1. Make sure the trap is switched OFF before opening the battery compartment.
2. Insert 4 x 1.5V C/LR14 batteries, following the polarity markings, and replace the cover.
3. Wear gloves when handling and baiting the trap to avoid leaving your scent on it, which may make rodents more cautious.
4. Place a small amount of peanut butter or dry food at the back of the trap. Insert the bait through the rear openings using a non-conductive utensil.
5. Position the trap along a wall on a route where rats or mice are likely to travel.
6. Move the switch to ON. The indicator will flash green once to confirm that the trap is armed.
7. Check the trap at least once a day and replace the bait regularly so that it remains fresh.

If you do not catch a rodent after several days, move the trap to another suspected route and, if necessary, try a different bait.
