Garden Protector 4 with Flash – Cat, Rabbit, Fox and Other Animal Repeller
The cat, rabbit, fox and other animal repeller, model “WK0054” – “Garden Protector 4”, uses ultrasonic technology combined with a motion sensor and LED flash to protect gardens, vegetable patches, patios, terraces and other outdoor areas from unwanted animals.
When the infrared motion sensor detects an animal, the device emits ultrasonic waves together with a powerful flash of light that is extremely unpleasant for animals, forcing them to leave the area. The light flash significantly increases the effectiveness of the repeller.

Garden Protector 4 with Flash – How It Works
The WK0054 – Garden Protector 4 is equipped with an infrared motion sensor that activates automatically when an animal is detected. At that moment, the device emits ultrasonic waves and a light flash for approximately 7 seconds, causing discomfort that encourages the animal to change its behaviour and leave the area.
After each activation, the device enters a standby period of around 5 seconds. If movement continues, the ultrasonic and flash cycle restarts automatically. For long-lasting results, continuous operation is recommended.
Garden Protector 4 with Flash – Power Supply
The WK0054 – Garden Protector 4 can operate either on batteries or connected to the mains:
- Powered by 4 D/LR20 1.5 V batteries.
- Battery life depends on the number of activations and use of the flash, and can reach up to 5,000 activations with good-quality batteries. This corresponds to approximately ±6 months of continuous use.
- Optionally, it can be connected to the mains using the Weitech outdoor power adapter (not included – see accessories).
- When using the power adapter, batteries must not be inserted into the device.
Garden Protector 4 with Flash – Frequency Selection
The Garden Protector 4 allows you to adjust the ultrasonic frequency according to the type of animal you wish to repel. To do so, turn the frequency selection dial located on the front of the device to the appropriate position:
- To repel cats: any position from 1 to 7 can be used.
- To repel foxes: use positions 3 to 7.
- To repel weasels and martens: use positions 4 to 7.
- To repel rabbits: use positions 5, 6 or 7.
- To repel herons: use positions 6 or 7.
- To repel dogs: use positions 2 to 7.
Very important: Older animals (just like older people) may have reduced hearing ability, especially at higher frequencies. If the animal you are trying to repel does not react, we recommend turning the dial to a higher position (higher number). This lowers the emitted frequency and improves effectiveness.
The frequency range goes from approximately 25 kHz in position 1 (highest frequency) to 14 kHz in position 7 (lowest frequency). The higher the selected position, the greater the coverage, reaching up to a maximum of 200 m².
The infrared sensor automatically activates the ultrasonic emission and light flash for about 7 seconds. The device then enters a standby period of approximately 5 seconds and reactivates if movement is detected.
Note: At higher settings (6 and 7), the ultrasonic sound may be slightly audible to people with very good hearing. If this becomes uncomfortable, adjust the dial to a lower position. Do not place your ear close to the device and keep it out of reach of children.
Garden Protector 4 – Flashing LED Light
The Garden Protector 4 is equipped with a flashing LED light that activates during ultrasonic emission. The flash can be turned on or off using a button located on the front of the device. Using the flash significantly increases the effectiveness of the repellent system.
Garden Protector 4 with Flash – Placement
Install the WK0054 – Garden Protector 4 on a ground-mounted support in a clear area free of obstacles. The recommended installation height ranges from 10 to 80 cm above ground, depending on the animal to be repelled.
Make sure there are no obstacles between the device and the area to be protected to ensure proper detection and ultrasonic emission. For very large areas or zones with dense vegetation, several devices may be required.
