Mounting Clips for BirdBlocker BB-TopGuard – Flat Flange Frames

BirdBlocker BB-TopGuard mounting clips allow you to install the BB-TopGuard anti-perching system directly onto solar panel frames with a Flat Flange profile.

The clip secures BB-TopGuard to the frame of the PV module safely, without drilling into or modifying the solar panel.

Each bag contains 50 mounting clips. As a general guide, approximately 8 clips per linear metre of BB-TopGuard are recommended, meaning that one bag covers approximately 6 metres. The exact quantity may vary depending on the panel and installation conditions.

Which version do I need?

Before ordering, check the dimensions of your solar panel frame. Both versions are designed for Flat Flange frames with a flange depth of 20 to 35 mm. The correct version depends on the height of the frame:

  • W20-35 × H30-35: for Flat Flange frames with a flange depth of 20–35 mm and a frame height of 30–35 mm.
  • W20-35 × H36-41: for Flat Flange frames with a flange depth of 20–35 mm and a frame height of 36–41 mm.

These dimensions can usually be found in the technical datasheet of the PV module. If you are unsure, measure the depth of the flat flange and the total frame height before selecting the correct version.
