The UV Insect Trap with Glue Board Gardigo 100 m² is an indoor glue board fly killer for flies and other flying insects. It attracts insects with UV light and captures them hygienically on a yellow adhesive surface located inside the device.

Unlike electric fly killers with a grid, this model does not electrocute insects. It captures them on a glue board, avoiding crackling, unpleasant odours and insect particles in the air. This makes it especially suitable for homes, offices, kitchens, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, hotels, food shops and other indoor spaces where hygiene and discretion are important.

Hygienic capture with LED UV light and yellow glue board

The device uses 20 UV LEDs to attract flies and other flying insects that react to light. In addition, the yellow glue board helps reinforce the visual attraction for certain insects.

Once attracted to the device, the insects are trapped on the internal glue board. The system works without sprays, insecticides, poisons or chemical attractants.

Especially suitable for hospitality, catering and hygiene-sensitive spaces

In restaurants, cafés, bakeries, hotels, kitchens, counters, dining rooms and food shops, the presence of flies can create a very negative impression of hygiene.

This UV insect trap with glue board is a clean and discreet alternative to traditional electric fly killers, as it does not produce crackling noises, does not generate odours from burnt insects and avoids the spread of insect remains or particles into the air.

For indoor areas up to 100 m²

The Gardigo UV Insect Trap with Glue Board is designed for indoor spaces with an illuminated coverage of up to 100 m². To improve effectiveness, we recommend placing it in the darkest possible area of the room, away from other light sources.

It should be used with doors and windows closed. Avoid placing it in draughty areas or in front of open windows or doors, as this reduces the attraction capacity of the device and may encourage more insects to enter from outside.

Important: not a primary solution for mosquitoes

This product is mainly intended for flies and other flying insects that react to UV light. Although some mosquitoes may approach light sources under certain conditions, mosquitoes are mainly guided by human presence: heat, breathing and body odours.

For this reason, we do not recommend this type of UV insect trap with glue board as the main solution for mosquito problems.

It may also help with small insects attracted by yellow

The yellow glue board may help capture small flying insects attracted by this colour, such as some thrips or thunderflies, provided they enter the attraction area of the device.

Effectiveness may vary depending on the type of insect, the placement of the device and the conditions in the room.

Tips to improve effectiveness

• Place or hang the device in the darkest possible area of the room.
• Avoid installing it near other light sources.
• Use it with doors and windows closed.
• Do not place it in draughty areas.
• Switch it on before using the room or space to be protected.
• Replace the glue board when it has captured a significant number of insects.

The attraction function is only effective for flying insects that react to light.

Easy installation: standing, wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted

The device can be placed on a flat surface or fixed to a wall or ceiling thanks to the integrated hanging system on the back.

If you are going to fix it to a wall or ceiling, make sure before drilling that there are no gas pipes, water pipes or electrical cables in the installation area. The installation must be carried out safely using fixings suitable for the type of wall.

Easy glue board replacement

The device includes 3 glue boards so you can start using it straight away. To insert a board, simply open the rear compartment, remove the protective film from the glue board, slide it into the side guides and close the compartment again.

When the glue board has captured many insects, it should be replaced to maintain good capture performance.

The manufacturer identifies the replacement glue boards with reference 62288. Replacement boards can be purchased separately. Availability may vary depending on stock at any given time.

Keep the device and glue boards out of the reach of children. Children must not play with the device or with the glue boards. Always unplug the device from the mains before cleaning or handling it.
