How the VELUTINATRAP® KIT Works

The trap captures Asian hornets using a selective attraction system. The attractant releases compounds that mimic the natural food sources of Vespa velutina, effectively drawing them into the trap, where they become trapped with no possibility of escape.

Instructions for Use

1. Preparation: Pour the contents of one bottle of VELUTINATRAP® ATTRACTANT (250 cm³) into the trap’s base.
2. Assembly: Assemble the trap following the included instructions.
3. Placement: Hang the trap in trees, preferably at the edge of forests, near water sources, or pasture areas. The recommended height is between 1.5 and 2 meters on a natural or artificial support.
4. Maintenance: Periodically check the trap and renew the attractant every 60 days or sooner if it becomes flooded.
