- External Spekaker for use with Bird Gard bird repellers: models Bird Gard Pro, Bird Gard Pro Plus, Bird Gard Super Pro, UltraSonX, and BroadBand Pro.
- Maximum coverage 1.5 acres (0.6 hectares).
- Comes with 31 meters (100 ft.) of cable.
- External speaker for greater flexibility in extending protection around obstacles, irregular crop configurations and in structures such as barns and marinas.
- Each external speaker has an additional connector on the back that allows a second speaker to be connected in series.
- This way, the second speaker can be placed up to 31 metres beyond the first one, effectively improving sound distribution (although the total coverage area does not increase).
- This connector can be clearly seen in the product photo showing the lower rear part of the speaker.
- The optional external speaker DOES NOT increase total coverage area.

It’s a good device.
Essential
Due to the layout of the vineyard (an open vineyard without fencing), the speaker is essential for me: my neighbor allowed me to place all the equipment (Bird Gard, battery, solar panel...) inside his fenced area, and thanks to the speaker, I was able to position the sound source in the most suitable location in my vineyard. The only thing I would change is to add a third central hole to the speaker for attachment at the top: there isn't always such a wide surface available to secure the speaker with two widely spaced attachments (the surface may be as wide as the speaker, but the corresponding hole should not be made so close to the edge), and a centrally aligned hole with the others would add placement flexibility to the speaker.
Necessary
The building from which to "scare away" the woodpeckers is very large, so we had to add two speakers to the main bird repeller. We hope that this way, the effectiveness is the best possible, unfortunately, the birds have destroyed all the external frames. It is a protected species, and Bird Gard seemed to us the best repeller on the market. At the moment, it seems to work for the new frames, although a couple of birds are still seen nearby.
