​Most ultrasound repellent systems only work indoors, but the UltraSonX is powerful enough for use within medium-sized semi-enclosed outdoor areas.

  • For other bird species such as sparrows, pigeons, seagulls... UltraSonX is only recommended in combination with other solutions such as AviFin Gel, the Hawk ScareCrow or BroadBand Pro, which adds audible sound. Two or more different types of devices (visual repellants / anti-nesting products) will produce a synergistic effect. That is, their combined effect is greater than the sum of their effectiveness when used individually.

Use against bats, swallows and swifts

UltraSon X can be an interesting solution for prevention, especially when you want to prevent animals such as bats, swallows or swifts from settling, roosting or starting to nest in a specific area before the problem becomes established.

In the case of bats, the use of ultrasound has a particularly clear basis, as these animals use echolocation to orient themselves. In the case of swallows and swifts, we recommend understanding it as a preventive tool for specific spaces, such as porches, eaves, garages, inner courtyards or semi-covered areas, and not as a stand-alone solution if there is already an established nest or colony.

Important notice: bats, swallows and swifts are protected species. The device is suitable for preventing them from settling; if there is already a colony, roost, nest, eggs or chicks, acting on them may require prior authorisation from the competent authority, which is the sole responsibility of the customer to request and obtain before taking action. Note: dogs and cats may also perceive certain high frequencies, so it is advisable to consider the location of the device if there are pets in the area.

Optional Accessories for the Ultrason X

The Ultrason X ultrasonic bird repeller can be complemented with several optional accessories that expand its functionality and make it more versatile depending on your environment or needs. Below, we explain how each one works:

🔊 Additional Speakers

The Ultrason X comes standard with four external speakers, but you can expand the ultrasound coverage by connecting an additional speaker in series to each of the four original ones.

This means you can have up to eight speakers connected to a single device (four direct + four in series). This setup allows for better ultrasound distribution, especially useful in large installations or spaces with obstacles.

Note: Adding speakers in series does not increase the total coverage area, but it does improve how the ultrasound is distributed within the covered space.

🔌 Battery Cable

If you plan to use the Ultrason X in a location without access to electricity, you can power it with a car battery. This accessory is a cable that allows the device to be connected to a 12V battery, ideal for remote installations.

☀️ Solar Panel

The solar panel keeps the battery continuously charged when the Ultrason X runs on battery power. It is the most recommended solution for permanent installations without access to the power grid.

Important: If you purchase the solar panel, you do not need to buy battery cables separately, as they are included by default.
